MESSAGE NOTES Human Responsibility Romans 9:30-33 Dr. Jeffrey Clark Question: How does one pursue righteousness before God? Gentiles did not pursue righteousness – and found it. Israel pursued righteousness by law – and did not find it. Applications: Answer this question: what am I going to do with Jesus Christ? Address this matter: one could identify with the visible church without being a member of the invisible church. Pray for neighbors: my heart’s desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved ( Rom 10:1 ). Question #1 – Doesn’t election mean that God is unjust? Question #2 – Doesn’t election mean humans are not responsible?
