In God's Time

Pray for God's blessing on myself and others - pray that I may allow him to pursue in his own time and his own Way.
Deuteronomy 6:4-7 - 4Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.[a] 5 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
The promise is in faith and assurance
apathetic, atheists, and agnostics - The apathetic do not acknowledge God either.  They do not seek him out although they may be aware of Him. 
Romans 9:1-5
Matthew 23:3737 “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you,how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing.
Paul grieves over resistance to Jesus.  His grief is real, intense, sacrificial, and acute.  
Take that visual of the chicken protecting her young.  God does this for us.

Digging Deeper: 
Paul takes a vow in Romans 9:1 that he has grief for those separated from Jesus. Why is grief the only attitude toward unbelief that is consistent with faith? 
He describes the intensity of grief:  "great sorrow and unceasing anguish"

How do you feel loved?   Five Love Languages  Gary Chapman   Words of Affirmation : Actions don’t always speak louder than words. If this is your love language, unsolicited compliments mean the world to you. Hearing the words,  “ I love you,” are important-hearing the reason behind that love sends your spirits skyward.
